Hello to anyone looking into using Dr. Aguirre for any of the numerous services his practice offers! I'm a nurse and a 40 year old mother of two (now ages 14 and 11). Following the birth of my rather large (9 lb) first child 15 years ago, I began to notice some unpleasant changes in my pelvic and vaginal areas. I couldn't jump on a trampoline without leaking a few drops of urine, and I stopped running because the bouncing always made me feel like I had to pee. Over time, having a bowel movement became difficult - it often felt like I couldn't fully empty my rectum, and I developed multiple skin tags from hemorrhoids due to straining. In addition, my vaginal wall felt very loose and my already long labia were hanging even lower and being chafed by my underwear. My husband never complained and sex was still pretty good, but all in all it was not a good scene. About a year ago I brought these problems up with my gyn, who diagnosed me with rectocele and cystocele, and offered to do robotic surgery with a hysterectomy and mesh repair. I had heard of lawsuits related to mesh causing erosion and was not comfortable with the idea of an unnecessary hysterectomy. I didn't know what to do. Then one day I was looking at the 5280 magazine Top Docs issue and saw Dr. Aguirre's ad for the Mommy Makeover. After meeting with him I discovered that not only could he repair the rectocele and cystocele without mesh and without a hysterectomy, he could also tighten my damaged vaginal canal, remove the anal skin tags, and reduce the size of the inner labia so they did not constantly chafe against my underwear. Wow! The only downside to all of this was that given the extensive nature of the procedures he preferred to do a "bikini line" abdominal incision rather than a laparoscopic or trans-vaginal approach. I was a bit sad that I would end up with a c-section-type scar, but I felt it was more important that he be able to do the best possible job with all the non-cosmetic repairs. As he put it, "you're 40 years old now; I want these repairs to last you at least another 40 years." The surgery was at Rose Medical Center and lasted about 5 hours. The hospital stay was amazing, at least in part because I was given a VIP room since all their regular rooms were taken. The entire staff was fabulous - and I should know because I've been a hospital nurse for many years. Recovery, as predicted, was pretty long given the extensive nature of the surgeries. No exercise for six weeks. Sex and tampons were delayed for about 8 weeks due to residual swelling. At 3 1/2 months the last of the little lumps in my labia from the dissolving internal stitches finally disappeared, and I feel like I am back to normal. Actually, I'm back to WAY better than normal! After suffering for 15 years, I finally can pee and poop normally. Sex is even better than before and I think my husband wants to send Dr. Aguirre flowers because after the vaginal repair I am "tight" again, which makes sex much more fun for him, too. As for the labiaplasty, I do want to make a comment for any woman considering it. We are all built differently and the labia we tend to see in media portrayals (typically porn or doctor's office renderings) are the genital equivalent of Victoria's Secret models and Barbie dolls. Real, surgically unaltered women have all kinds of labia and there is nothing wrong with that. If you are comfortable with and confident about the labia you developed at puberty, you don't have to change them to conform to an unrealistic ideal. That being said, the labiaplasty Dr. Aguirre performed on me produced fabulous results. They no longer hang below the outer labia, no longer chafe, and look nice and neat and NATURAL. I LOVE my new labia!!! As for complications, there were only two issues. The first was excessive swelling where I had anal skin tag removal, which Dr. Aguirre fixed by snipping a stitch in his office. The second was a bit of superficial infection along my scar, making it a bit darker and thicker than I would have expected. Fortunately, Dr. Aguirre did a laser treatment on it and it is looking better already. Also, I would imagine I need at least a year for the scar to take on it's final appearance - and its only been four months. All in all, working with Dr. Aguirre and his wonderful team has been an incredibly positive and rewarding experience and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for any sort of gynecologic surgery, including cosmetic gyn surgery. They are kind, skilled, and professional. Dr. Aguirre has a wonderful aesthetic sense and really takes the time to find out what you want regarding cosmetic appearance before doing surgery. And he and his staff provide consistent support and follow-through during recovery. I would go to Dr. Aguirre again for any of the procedures he and his staff offer - and probably will, since I see he offers treatment for sun damage!

After finding Dr. Moore on this website, I chose to go to Atlanta and have vaginal rejuvenation surgery with him. I am a mom of 4 and intercourse with my husband after having my babies was not the same. I feel like I am in my 20's again! Dr. Moore was professional and knowledgeable.

I originally contacted Dr. Aguirre for bladder issues that had become common after child birth. I would frequently lose urine when sneezing, jumping, or running. Not only was this embarrassing, but also annoying. After my consultation with Dr Aguirre, I also admitted that I had less sensation, after having children, when having sexual relations. Upon exam, it was obvious that my pelvic floor had lost elasticity and muscular integrity. I decided to also add vaginal rejuvenation to my surgery. I figured I may as well have both procedures completed at the same time so I won't have the down time again later. I am thrilled to say that I am having the best sex of my life!!! I feel like a teenager again! Not only am I happy, but so is my husband! If anyone reading this is feeling the same way I did, please get this procedure!!! I am also very impressed with Dr. Aguirre and his staff. After my procedure, they were all so amazing! All of them went above and beyond to make sure I was healing correctly and had the utmost comfort. Dr Aguirre is professional, yet somehow makes you feel like you are an old friend. I would highly recommend Aguirre Specialty Care! A.D

I am so pleased with my results! My husband said that he felt guilty because it was like being with another woman (and it was much better). Not only do I look much better, but sex is much better for both of us as well. I cannot recommend Dr. Bernstein enough!

I have just came upon my 2 week mark and finally feeling a lot better. Thanks to Dr. Rho I am confident that I will be a happier person with his help. I couldnt of been more pleased with him and his assistant. She wiped my tears through the procedure and actually held my hand with more compassion than any nurse has ever shown me. She and Dr. Rho had the best bed side manners ever! That alone maked this procedure so much easier on me. Looking forward to my final check up and I will post my exact feelings on the outcome of this procedure.

I am a mother of 4 little girls. All four girls were delivered vaginally. I had sever leakage and did not feel snug with intercourse. I had this problem for over two years and was recommended to Dr. Aguirre by Dr. Broadway. Dr. Aguirre was very thorough and explained the reasons for the problems I was experiencing. I had sever pelvic floor prolapse where my bladder, small intestines and rectum had fallen into my vaginal canal. I needed a true "mommy makeover". I am currently about 7 weeks post op. and feel great. My leakage and discomfort is gone and feel very confident with sex again. It feels great. I would highly recommend the services of Dr. Aguirre. Good luck with your procedure!

The first time my husband and I made love, he exclaimed over how tight I was. Of course, that felt great to me! Fifteen years went by, and I didnt notice how much things had changed. Then, during a routine pap smear, I was told that my muscles were weak, and I should kegel. I became aware of how loose my vaginal opening was I kegeled for years, and nothing got better. Then I realized my entire muscle tone was declining, and I got a testerone hormone prescribed. No change in how I gripped my husbands penis. I do accept that aging is inevitable, but I felt inadequate in terms of sex. When I finally told my husband how badly I felt, he assured me that he loved me and that sex was wonderful. But I always felt inadequate and old. We are in our fifties, and should have decades of great sex ahead of us. Finally, after seven or eight years of trying to solve this problem, I came across the term vaginal rejuvenation in a google search. I went to see Dr. Aguirre, and after an exam, he explained just what had happened to my vaginal opening. During childbirth, most likely, the walls had been torn, and things were gradually getting worse. No wonder the kegeling and testerone had not solved the problem. I cannot describe the relief I felt in knowing that this unhappy situation could be reversed. I had the surgery. I feel young again!! My husband commented that he is a satisfied customer! The reason I am writing this is to inform other women who are in the position I was in. Once I talked to some of my friends, I found out that some of them have this problem also. I had kept this problem totally to myself, as I felt embarrassed and old. My other doctors were the only people I talked with, and they did not have the information I needed. If this will help you or someone you know, I am glad.

Years after childbirth, I had concerns with incontinence, pelvic heaviness, vaginal looseness and the abdomen pooch. These physical changes were weighting silently on my self esteem. I needed specific care, so my search began for a specialist in the female pelvic region. The office has a calming atmosphere; the staff is professional, knowledgeable, involved and helpful. They work very well as a team. Receiving an appointment is easy, follow up appointments are simple and billing is painless, at least for me. Dr. Aguirres diagnosis showed a series of conditions, and then he spent time with me as he explained each one. His bedside manner is superb; he has a way of making me feel at ease, he understood the big picture and I was relieved that he had sophisticated solutions. After disclosing my options, I choose my course. I opted for a urethral sling for incontinence, vaginal rejuvenation and perineoplasty for the heaviness/laxity and the VASER Liposelection for the abdomen pooch. His exceptional skills and scholar were evident to me, as my healing times have been better then expected without complications. Dr. Aguirre has no idea, that not only did he address my physical concerns but he also addressed a few emotional ones as well. I feel beautiful, and the quality of my life has enhanced since I have been participating in the care and expertise of Dr. Aguirre. He is an amazing physician and surgeon. I can not say enough about the wonderful experiences and results I have had.

"Mommy Makeovers" are far from uncommon. In fact, they’re becoming increasingly popular and almost any cosmetic surgeon can perform the procedures. Mommy Makeovers are geared towards women who have given birth and desire procedures such as breast augmentation, tummy tuck and sometimes liposuction.

Only a few years ago, women suffering from vaginal looseness did not have many treatment options to choose from. Kegel exercises are often recommended but were insufficient for some, and surgery in the form of a Vaginoplasty was too extreme for others. The decreased sensation during sex as well as urinary stress incontinence that can accompany vaginal looseness had seemed untreatable.
