By adding the stem cells to the harvested fat, it helps to increase new blood vessel formation that is needed to feed the fat after transfer and helps to tighten the skin over the breast. This leads to an enhanced survival rate which translates into a better augmentation. It is estimated that by adding stem cells to the fat there is a 10-20% more fat survival rate which translates into a 10-20% volume increase over non-stem cell enriched fat transfer natural breast augmentation procedures.
