Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?

When Derrin called my office in 2003 in Snellville, she had asked my receptionist if I treat sever scars that look like holes in face. I saw her for consultation, her face was deeply scared with acne. I performed monthly facial photodynamic therapy. Gradually, her scars was getting smaller and more superficial. She was happy after 5 PDT and one skin resurfacing with Portrait-PSR. I never forget her happy face on our last visit when she said: Thank you for changing my life

What is your charity organization of choice and why?

American Cancer Society I don't know why, may be it goes back to when I was 14. My father was hospitalized for Lung cancer and I used to visit him frequently. I observed doctors and how they help their patients. I decided to become a cancer doctor at that age. There was no doctor in my family. I was the first, my passion for medicine became contagious. My younger brother and sister and later several nieces and nephews became Medical doctors. I never went for oncology fellowship and stayed happy being an internist.

What does living in the Atlanta community mean to you?

I love the southern hospitality and slow pace of life here.

What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?

I have been in practice for more than 20 years. First 10 years was more of Internal Medicine and slowly transitioned to preventive medicine, age management and cosmetic dermatology. I love what I do. My experience in age management medicine and cosmetic dermatology has empowered me. I provide both medical (internal) and cosmetic(external) anti aging services. I stay up to date in Internal medicine as well.
