This 31 year old Banker from Rocky River, Ohio underwent several areas of VASER liposelection. She had Vaser of her flanks, back, abdomen and of her upper bilateral arms. She had already made some significant life changes of diet and exercise, losing 65 pounds over the 6 or 7 months pre-operatively. She maintained her healthy weight post-operatively. She was thrilled that she lost 3 1/2 inches on the right arm and 4 inches on the left arm with the Vaser liposelection technique. The incision is on the lateraly condyle at the elbow and a second small incision is in the posterior axilla. Each incision is about 4 mm long and the sutures come out in 7 to 10 days. She had post-operative massages to help soften her result and improve her skin recoil, elasticity and soft tissue lymphatic flow. An older patient or a patient with inelastic skin may not be a candidate for just Vaser Liposelection, but may require a Brachioplasty. Because of her skin recoil evaluated on examination during her consultation, we agreed that she would have a good result and she would accept some possible skin excess with Vaser alone. She was on extra-strength Tylenol by the 4th day and was driving 5 days after having Vaser of her Abdomen, Flanks, Back, and Arms! She has a great result and loves it!
