Dr. Rob Strain is accomplished in the disciplines of esthetic and restorative dentistry. He is the author of “Add Life to Your Smile, the Consumer’s Guide to Achieving a Lifetime Smile with Less Dentistry”.

As an early implementer of cosmetic dental techniques, Dr. Strain has over twenty-five years experience and insight in advanced esthetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers, metal-free ceramic crowns, laser dentistry and dental makeovers. With over 2200 hours of postgraduate coursework, Dr. Strain is abreast of all aspects of dentistry, including fear-elimination techniques such as conscious sedation for the fearful patient.

Dr. Strain often shares his expertise as a guest host on the Joey English Show (KNEWS, AM 1270) and as a speaker at local events.

Dr. Rob Strain to Assume Care for Dr. Bailey’s Patients

Dr. Rob Strain and his Studio Dentistry staff take pleasure in announcing the assumption of care for the patients of Dr. Donald Bailey of Rancho Mirage. Dr. Bailey is retiring after 17 years of service to patients at his office located on the Eisenhower Medical Center campus. Dr. Bailey moved to California from Maryland, where he graduated as the top clinical dentist from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1964.

“Our number one goal is to make the transition seamless for Dr. Bailey’s patients,” states Dr. Strain. “It is important to me to have received the trust and blessing of such a fine dentist. I am honored to take over the care for his patients and to continue to employ his excellent staff.” The practice sees a number of celebrities from the entertainment and business industries.

Dr. Strain came to the Coachella Valley in early 2004 and has grown a practice which focuses on preservation dentistry (saving teeth), esthetics and bite reconstruction. He will continue these services at both his existing El Paseo office in Palm Desert and the new office at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage.

Dr. Strain holds memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and Dentists for Oral Conscious Sedation. He is active in Rotary International and in fundraising for Olive Crest, an organization that supports women who have suffered domestic abuse.

He has four grown children, including one daughter who is a Dental Hygienist graduate from USC.
