Answer:

Nope, I don't do that kind of work. But hey, it's not your fault, your question got misdirected. They have nurses screening these questions, and they don't understand which topics should be directed towards which docs. Try calling your local dental society for more info on costs in your area.

Question:

I recently had my 6 upper teeth fitted with porcelain veneers. Approx. 1 week ago. Since the procedure I am experiencing severe sensitivity to cold and I cannot bite down with these teeth as it is painful. My dentist seems to think that in time this will go away. I am very concerned as I'm worried that I have ruined my teeth. Have you had any other cases that had this kind of response to veneers. Please advise as I am very worried. Hello, It is not unusual to experience sensitivity anytime a bonding procedure is done. Veneers are bonded to the tooth and the sensitivity is ok. It should go away in a few days or weeks. If it continues or gets worse, then have the dentist take a look at it. Sameer Puri DDS
