Cheek Augmentation (Implants) Questions and Answers

I have sort of a "flat face". I need cheeks, and, face contouring. Is that possible?

Answer:

Dear Beverly, Cheek implants may be of help or reduction of your mandible laterally (if these are wide). There are also ways of moving the jaws forward but this is performed by craniofacial surgeons and is usually very expensive with many risks. It may be the best choice though, depending upon the extent of correction you desire. I would suggest a visit with a craniofacial plastic surgeon in order to determine which of the options is best for you.

Question:

I would like to have some type of procedure on my face...can cheekbone implant work and look natural? I feel like my face looks..sullen..

Answer:

It's difficult to determine what procedure(s) would best improve the appearance of your face without actually seeing you. I no longer do cheek implants, so I am not a good resource for information about them.
