Patient 12229 had 855 follicular unit grafts during one hair transplantation session. The after picture was taken six months later. The results of a hair transplantation are gradual. The grafts don't start growing hair for a couple of month after the session. So the "end product" takes about 4-6 months after the session. Note: Hair transplantation is a gradual process. It is not like putting on a hair piece or a weave for the first time, which can be shocking to others. After a hair transplantation, the hair grows in slowly over a period of months so others notice an improvement in appearance but unsure why and frequently ask, "Did you lose weight or are you working out or something?"
