Case: 3916 Category: Crowns & Bridges Gender: Female Description: This patient had a complaint of bleeding gums and front crowns that were too short, square and dark. An oral examination revealed that the crowns were irritating the gum tissue. The old crowns were removed, temporary crowns placed and the gum tissue was allowed to heal. This patient is on television frequently and wanted extremely white teeth. Notice how the new crowns are slightly longer and the biting edges are more rounded, giving her a more youthful appearance. We are now in the process of placeing ceramic veneers on her lower teeth. |
