All tissue from the area above the belly button down to the pubic hair is removed. Then the upper abdominal tissue is "pulled down like a shade" and the belly button is "repopped" at the natural position. It is NOT removed. Liposuction is performed to give the definition of the waist and upper back/hips. The procedure takes about 3 hours in a patient that presents like this lady.
