Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
35 year old, Female, 112 lbs, 4'11, Medium skin tone
The woman had 6 C-sections to deliver her children so she suffered from severe stretch marks and laxity of her lower abdominal wall. She also had a vertical scar from her belly button to her pubis that was tethered to her abdominal wall in the midline. This created a contour deformity which really bothered her. In order to improve her abdominal contour, she underwent abdominoplasty or tummy tuck with full muscle plication. Her old vertical scar and most of her stretch marks were removed. The stretch marks that remain are the ones that were above her belly button pre-operatively. They have been moved to a lower position. Her scar remains dark after 6 months because of her skin tone. It will fade in time.
She also underwent a breast augmentation with saline implants to complete her "before baby body" transformation.
