This has a profound effect on the premature appearance of aging; or a youthful rejuvenating effect when bone is maintained or regenerated. You may have difficulty determining, in the following photos, who is 94, 62 & 44 years old, without reading the notes.

Details: The Before photo patient is 32 years younger than the After photo patient. The After photo shows a lady who has most of her teeth, & is 94 years old. Amazing is the effect, that preserving one's jawbone can have on our appearance.

Details: The Before photo of this lady shows how she appeared before bone regeneration and reconstruction with implants. It's difficult to conceive that she is 50 years younger than our 94 year old. When we look at the After photo, however, it becomes believable. |
