A large hump gives the illusion that the tip of the nose is hanging down. However on closer examination the angle between the upper lip and the base of the nose is greter than 90 degrees. It is not necessary to elevate the nasal tip. The moment the hump is reduced the tip appears more elevated and the overallnose smaller.
