This is an example of mesotherapy for fat reduction in the lower abdominal area. This patient was from the Los Angeles area. The procedure involved several painless injections of fat dissolving medication. There was swelling and redness for several days and the procedure was repeated 3 times, in sessions one month apart. Each time, the effect was evident about 3 weeks after the injections. The advantage of this technique as compared to liposuction is that there is much less swelling, and pain. Also, no surgical risk, no skin puckering and no uneven contours.
