Carol knew initially before coming to our practice that she wanted to have her teeth "fixed". She was looking for an office that had advanced technology and the ability to do some of the advanced complex procedures she would have to undergo to get her smile the way she wanted it. Carol spent alot of time researching and looking at different providers on the internet, so we were flattered when we found out she chose us! Carol had several teeth in the front that had unfortunately been treated by previous dentists and the treatment had failed. She had to have these teeth removed and bone grafts placed. A new type of bone grafting was used to give Carol the appearance that the current teeth are coming out of her gums and look natural. This synthetic grafting forms a lattice and allows the patients own bone to reform around it. The outcome looks natural and doesnt require taking bone from somewhere else in the body or using cadaver or animal bone. It is a great option to preserve the original shape of the ridges and gums. In addition to grafting and gum lifting procedures, veneers, crowns, and bridges were used to restore the broken down fillings and replace much of the old dentistry that was falling apart. Finesse, Wol-Ceram, and Cercon brand ceramics were used to give Carol a more uniform, brighter and healthier smile.
