Ms. Rachel of Charlotte, NC is a vibrant, happy young woman that felt her smile didn't exactly convey the look she wanted. She had suffered from discolored teeth at an early age and combined with the different color of fillings placed over the years, she knew her smile could be improved. She came to Ballantyne Center for Dentistry for a consult and after a comprehensive exam, she decided to fix smile in time for her wedding pictures. Since she was quite anxious about the work ahead of her, she opted to have sedation dentistry as part of her treatment plan. Her treatment included eight Empress crowns and a root canal. She had other work that was treatment planned but wanted to work on her smile first. The day of her appointment, she was escorted back to her treatment suite, given her sedation medications, wrapped up in a warm blanket and her back massager started. After her procedure, she went home and rested the remaining afternoon and was seen the following day for a post-op appointment. She could barely contain her smile when she viewed her temporaries. She just loved them and wanted us to get her porcelain ones started immediately. Needless to say, she was a beaming bride, the day of her wedding. Interestingly enough, she was given a cold shoulder by a previous dentist's office because of what she had requested be done with her smile. They told her to save her money because there was too much work she needed and that someone her age probably couldnt afford it. She was glad she came to Ballantyne Center for Dentistry where we made her treatment fit into her budget and gave her smile that was consistent with how she felt inside...beautiful and confident.
