This 38-year old patient from San Diego, California was interested in breast augmentation; breast lift and tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty). Her friend, who is a patient, referred her to Dr. Pousti. After having children, the patient was unhappy with her post-baby body, even with diet and daily exercise, the patient complained her abdomen was not able to bounce back from having children. The patient also gave details about how the volume of her breasts was lost from breast-feeding her children. The patient said that she wanted to go very large in size with her augmentation. Understanding the patient goals, to achieve her desired look, Dr. Pousti explained to the patient it was best to do her breast lifting first and breast augmentation in a 2-step procedure, given that the patient wanted to go such a large size in her breasts. The patient is now 4-months post-op surgery, is healing well and is ready to sign up for her breast augmentation surgery.
