Breast Implant Revision
44 year old, Female, 143 lbs, 5'2", Light skin tone
After considering revisionary surgery for years, this 44-year-old female came to see Dr. Pousti, a Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, about breast revision due to displacement of implants from a previous breast augmentation. Displacement of breast implants can be embarrassing, emotionally difficult, and aesthetically displeasing. After breast augmentation surgery, breast implant displacement may occur due to due to gravity, capsular contracture, muscle pull, the forces of healing, or the weight of the implant. This may happen immediately after breast augmentation surgery or months later. In this patients case she was borderline symmastia, which can only be corrected by further surgery. Implant displacement can be reduced with a more skilled and experienced surgeon, such as Dr. Pousti. The patient is 4 months post op and healing wonderfully. The patient chose to go with smooth, round, 800cc saline-filled breast implants. She loves her results and is very grateful to Dr. Pousti?s for his amazing breast augmentation revision.
Dr. Pousti also specializes in body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and many other cosmetic procedures.
