This 25-year-old patient from Oceanside California had her first breast augmentation in 2005 with the implants placed above the muscle(not performed by Dr. Pousti). Since then she has experienced some complications with her breast implants. She has been thinking of having her breast implants removed and replaced as well as looking for the right surgeon for about a year. She has been referred to Dr. Pousti for reconstructive surgery. Dr. Pousti has met with this patient to review her options. After a brief examination during her consultation it was determined, in order to achieve optimal results she would benefit from having a breast lift, as well as removing her current implants and replacing the new silicone gel implants behind the muscle. This patient is now 1 year post-op mastopexy (lift) along with removal of breast implant with re-augmentation with silicone gel implants filled to 500 cc on both the left and right side made by the Mentor Corporation. This patient is very happy with her results.
