Porcelain Veneers Before and After Pictures by Joseph Hufanda, DDSAdditional procedures:Crowns & Bridges, Sedation DentistryJT didnt like his smile. He didn't like the color or the chipped edges of his front teeth. He heard about veneers and came to Ballantyne Center for Dentistry to find out more. He was slightly nervous when he first came in to find out what it would take to get the smile he wanted. After discussion of his options, he decided on 8 Empress veneers and a couple of crowns on the lower teeth where he had some large fillings. He was also interested in sedation dentistry to help alleviate the anxiety he had towards dentistry. On the day of his procedure he walked into the treatment room and said "I am ready". The procedure took a couple of hours but JT was resting so calmly, that when the procedure was done, JT wanted to finish his movie. Little did he know he had "watched" it twice. At his post operative appointment, he could barely contain his excitement at how good his smile looked. We picked out his color and characteristics and sent everything off to the laboratory. Delivery of his veneers went smoothly and after everything was said and done, JT commented, "boy, had I known it was this easy, I would've done this sooner". "I now have a smile I am happy to show off!" Way to go JT! We appreciate the opportunity you gave us to work with you in creating a special smile....just for you. | Patient DetailsSex: MaleAge: 27 years old Procedure performed on: Head, Face, Mouth, Jaw |

Ever look in the mirror and shutter at the thought of smiling? You are not alone. Cosmetic dentists meet people everyday who feel that way about their smile. But there is hope. These dentists will tell you, the most popular way to improve your smile is through the use of porcelain veneers.
You’ve made an investment to achieve that picture-perfect smile with porcelain veneers, but those amazing results won’t last forever without the right care plan. You will need to take extra good care of your teeth and gums after getting veneers because any dental problems can take their toll on the veneers. Since veneers are attached to your teeth, any gum or hygiene problems can be even more problematic because the gum tissues can swell and become puffy. Cosmetic Dentistry doctors will provide you with a care plan after treatment, but it’s up to you to take good care of your oral health and your new teeth.
