34 year old, Female, 123 lbs, 5'4", Medium skin tone
This patient came to see Dr. Glen Walton, with the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville, with a history of right breast cancer. She desired a breast reconstruction. Dr. Glen Walton discussed this patient's options with her, including TRAM flap, latissimus, and tissue expander reconstruction. She decided on tissue expansion. Dr. Walton first did an immediate tissue expander reconstruction following mastectomy. Dr. Walton then replaced the tissue expanders with silicone implants 7 months post-mastectomy.
