Delayed Breast Reconstruction Tissue Expander
42 year old, Female, 151 lbs, 5'7"
This is a 42 year old woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a left mastectomy. After a period of time she decided she wanted to feel more normal and wanted her left breast reconstructed. She chose to undergo left breast tissue expansion followed by placement of a permanent silicone implant. She also had a small right augment and lift. She did not want her nipple and areola reconstructed. A 500 cc silicone implant was placed in her left reconstructed breast and a 203 cc silicone implant was placed in her right breast. Her bra size has increased from a B cup to a large C or small D cup. Her surgery was performed in Anderson, South Carolina.
