22 year-old man with significant inverted nipples. This patient like most others will not go on the beach nor ever be seen without his shirt. For a man, this makes normal summer activites difficult because he is expected to take his shirt off when blending into summer fun. Instead, these patients cover up and wait for the weather to support their wearing upper body clothing. The patient is seen one week post op. Note the temporary bruising . . . this will be absorbed within 2-3 weeks. The nipples will not invert again! This result is seen "at the table" as the nipple bud comes out and stays out. Pretty neat for patients who like to watch . . . local anesthesia in the office. The procedure takes about 20 minutes a side.
