28 year old, Female, Medium skin tone
Young Asian female who desired creation of an eyelid fold (Asian blepharoplasty). Because of her age and amount of excess skin, "suture technique" would not have given her a lasting, satisfactory result. Instead, an "open incison technique" with anchoring stitches was performed.

Details: This is a post-op month 1 photo. Although still swollen (typically can take 3-6 months to completely resolve), the patient already has a nice fold created that she specified (tapered to her nose and parallel to her outer eye). Eyelid surgery can be tailored or customized to a certain look a patient desires. |
