She decided to undergo 3 IPL or Intense Pulsed Light treatments also known as Photorejuvenation. The downtime was a week to 10 days with each treatment with her freckles turning much darker before they flaked off. There were also areas of redness that lasted for days, so clearing her schedule for a week was a good idea. She also noticed an improvement in the plumpness and texture of her skin.
