Delayed Breast Reconstruction Tissue Expander
49 year old, Female, Dark skin tone
This 49 year old woman is seen about one year after reconstruction of the left breast with a breast implant. She had an expander placed at the initial procedure which was later exchanged for a permanent profile saline implant. Reconstruction of the nipple and areola was also performed in addition to a mastopexy (lift) of the right side. Multiple scars on the abdoment precluded a TRAM flap but considering the limitations, good symmetry is observed. For any questions or to schedule a consultation, please contact Dr. Kayser at Image by Design Plastic Surgery, by registering online below through the "Contact the Doctor" button.
