This 43-year-old executive from Kentucky has always wanted to change the appearance of his prominent ears. An otoplasty, or ear pinning, was performed in 2003 in our office surgical suite in an hour and a half. His left earlobe was also slightly reduced in size to match the opposite earlobe. He is no longer self-conscious about his ears and now rarely thinks about them, in contrast to his pre-operative concerns.
