This 36 year old Hispanic patient residing in New Jersey requested improvement in his acne scarring. We felt that skin resurfacing procedures such as laser or dermabrasion would have a high risk of complications, like changes in skin color. These pictures were taken after correction with liquid injectable filler on 3 separate occasions, spaced 1 month apart. The improved contour is permanent, and this 20-minute office procedure is painlessly performed with topical anesthtic.
