Immediate Breast Reconstruction Latissimus Flap Before and After Pictures by M. Kayser, MD, FACS

This 52 year old woman is seen about 3 months after reconstruction of the left breast with a latissimus muscle flap. She had an expander placed at the initial procedure which was later exchanged for a permanent profile saline implant. Reconstruction of the nipple and areola was also performed in addition to a mastopexy (lift) of the right side.
