This 20 year old young woman from Manchester, New Hampshire, wanted a breast reduction. She did not have adequate fat for a liposuction-only reduction , so Dr. Gray recommended a vertical reduction, a reduction, without any scar underneath the fold, which there normally is in a conventional reduction. She had 550 grams of tissue removed from each side. Her nipples we raised from 27 centimeters to 21 centimeters, more typical of her age. Although this is an early post-operative photo, her breasts are now a more appropriate shape with the nipples at the most projecting point.
