Case: 4476 Category: Crowns & Bridges Gender: Female Description: This young lady was about to be married. Her lateral incisors had always been narrow, and a previous dentist had placed short, fat porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns on them. Unfortunately, the teeth still looked too short and "gummy", the color was poor and the metal showed. A minor cosmetic gum lift to align the gums allowed us to place new metal-free ceramic crowns that had the proper proportions. A detailed color mapping including the use of our X-Rite Shade Vision computerized shade scanner allowed us to precisely duplicate the nuances of color present in her other teeth. You can be sure she had a totally renewed confidence for her wedding, and a great set of wedding photos. |
