This 53 year-old female from Fishers Indiana wanted improvement in the tired look around her eyes. She had significant eyebrow sagging (low brows)as well as excess upper eyelid skin.Because her forehead skin was long, a traditional scalp or endoscopic browlift would only have made her forehead longer as the brows were raised. Dr. Barry Eppley of Indianapolis Indiana performed an open browlift with the incision at the frontal hairline, being able to raise her brows and shorten her forehead at the same time. Patients understandably have great concerns about how that scar heals whcih ends up as just a very fine white line.
