Breast Implant Revision
26 year old, Female, Medium skin tone
This 26 year-old female from Bloomington Indiana had a prior saline breast augmentation procedure that resulted in one breast looking different from the other. Her left breast healed in a higher position than that of her right breast. Dr. Barry Eppley of Indianapolis repositioned her left breast by going through her original periareolar (nipple) incision.

Breast Implant Revision Photos - Angle 1
Details: Asymmetry between the two breasts is the number one reason for revisional surgery after breast augmentation, regardless of the implant type chosen or its pocket location. Breast asymmetry after augmentation occurs primarily because of pre-existing differences between the breast prior to surgery or the effects of healing and scar that forms around the breast implant. |
