This is a 50 year-old female from Muncie Indiana who wanted to improve her tired eye appearance. Browlift surgery is often done at the same time as upper blepharoplasty. (eyelid tuck) Browlifting can be done open or endoscopically dependent upon the length of one's forehead. In patient's with a long forehead and high hairline, the hairline can actually be brought down and the forehead shortened with a browlift. Dr. Barry Eppley of Indianapolis performs a careful analysis of the frontal hair, location of the hairline, and the degree of brow sagging and amount of forehead wrinkles in making the determination of what type of browlifting is best for each patient.
