This 26 year-old female from Indianapolis Indiana sought reconstruction after a motor vehicle accident. Cheek implants are placed through small incisions inside the mouth under the upper lip. To make sure they do not shift after surgery, Dr. Barry Eppley of Indianapolis inserts a small screw through the implant to fix it securely to the underlying bone.
