Delayed Breast Reconstruction Tissue Expander Before and After Pictures by Rick L. Paulson, MD, FACS

Patient had cancer of the left breast with subsequent mastectomy surgery. She presented to Dr. Paulson wanting breast reconstruction. After discussing her options, she elected to proceed with tissue expansion followed by permanent saline implant placement. She also had a permanent saline implant placed on the right side as she wanted to have fuller breasts in addition to the reconstruction. She elected to not undergo left nipple reconstruction. She is very pleased with the symmetry she has obtained.
