This patient presented with invsive ca of the left breast. She underwent an out-patient mastectomy with Dr. Thoams Bauer, followed by an immediate reconstruction with a latissimus flap. This was performed as an out patient with pain pumps that infuse local anesthesia into the wounds continuously for 4 days. She required no narcotics.
