Craniofacial Surgery Before and After Pictures by Barry L Eppley, M.D., D.M.D.

This 50 year-old female from Chicago Illinois wanted replacement of an old chin implant placed over 30 years ago. The implant was very small and had eroded into the chin bone. Dr. Barry Eppley of Indianapolis Indiana removed her chin implant from inside her mouth and cut and moved the chin bone forward (osteotomy). The severity of her chin deformity was better suited for moving the bone than a large implant.
