Breast Implant Revision Pictures South Carolina

This 68 year old female was found on imaging to have bilateral ruptured silicone implants. Although she was given choices for implant removal and replacement with new implants and choices for bresat lift surgery, she chose to proceed only with the removal of the ruptured implants and their capsule of scar which surrounded each of them. You will see in the pictures what the capsule of scar looks like that surrounds the ruptured implant and implant material.

This patient enjoyed undergoing her first breast augmenation, however, a few years later she decided that she wanted to have a larger breast size so she had her implants removed and replaced with a larger size. During the patient's second breast augmentation, her round, saline filled breast implants, which held 300-325 cc's, were removed and replaced by round, saline filled breast implants which held 490 cc's. This patient's was able to increase her breast size from a 34 C to a 34 D.

This patient developed a ruptured right breast implant and presented for right implant revision. However, due to the age of her implants, both implants were replaced with a larger size.
