This patient underwent explant complete capsulectomy and replacement with silicone implants performed by Richard L. Dolsky Medical Director of Cosmetic Surgery of Philadelphia 191 Presidential Boulevard Suite 105 Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004

This patient had been augmented with silicone gel implants in 1980 for a severe breast asymmetry. She presented with intracapsular ruptures of the implants and ptosis that had developed over the years. A capsulectomy with removal of implants and a peri-areolar mastopexy and replacement of gel implants was performed. Dr. Dabb has been approved to use gel implants by the FDA since the moratorium on gel implants in 1992. He has cohesive gell implants available in his practice.
