Common Questions & Answers about Tattoo Removal

"I recently read about women who have had breast enlargment...to hide the scars they were tatooed using ink made to match the skin color rather than laser surgery.Have you heard of this, and if so is it done by doctors or a Tattoo artist.I was wondering if it would work on the stretch marks under my armpits. I recently started noticing them from the amount of weight i've gained from weight lifting. Thank you any help would be appriciated."

Tattoo Removal
Female, Medium skin tone
Performed by James D. McMahan, M.D.  (Columbus , OH)
This Ohio native had tattoos on her back for many years and finally decided to have them removed. She initially went to a physician who used the wrong laser for tattoo removal. Her pre-treatment photographs show a thick scar on the left, a lot of residual ink, considerable loss of her skins natural pigment as well as a rim of excessive pigmentation. She responded very well to ND:YAG laser treatments done in my office using just topical local anesthesia.
