Patient had previouse augmentation and lift 5 years prior to cancer, then had bilateral reconstruction with lat flap and small implant.

This 52 year old woman is seen about 3 months after reconstruction of the left breast with a latissimus muscle flap. She had an expander placed at the initial procedure which was later exchanged for a permanent profile saline implant. Reconstruction of the nipple and areola was also performed in addition to a mastopexy (lift) of the right side. This patient presented with invsive ca of the left breast. She underwent an out-patient mastectomy with Dr. Thoams Bauer, followed by an immediate reconstruction with a latissimus flap. This was performed as an out patient with pain pumps that infuse local anesthesia into the wounds continuously for 4 days. She required no narcotics.

This patient had a right breast reconstruction with muscle flap after mastectomy. Left breast reduction was performed to make breasts more even.
