Gynecomastia (Male Breast Reduction) Pictures

Young man with substantial breast tissue underwent subcutaneous mastectomy (removal of breast gland) for gynecomastia. He had been much heavier and had lost a lot of weight. Despite his young years his skin is somewhat lax, but he demonstrates a dramatic improvement following sugery. As the post-operative photos are approximately two weeks after surgery he still has some bruising.

This 17 year old young man from Eliot, Maine developed some fat on one breast in early adolescence that has not gone away. He bothered him a great deal emotionally. Dr. Gray removed 150 cc of fat from his right breast. The patient was very happy with a more flatter right breast and looking more balanced side to side. His parents reported that his anxiety in situations where he needed to go shirtless was greatly reduced.

This 32 year old young man from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, had asymmetrical gynecomastia. One breast was noticeably larger than the other. In this case, it was not fatty deposit. Dr. Gray removed the extra tissue creating the unwanted fullness. The patient recovered quickly with very little discomfort and was very happy with the result.
