Bilateral upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) including transconjunctival removal of excess lower eyelid fat and subciliary skin pinch. Preoperatively, the patient complained of "heaviness" and a "tired appearance" related to his eyes.
Increasingly often, people were telling this patient that she looked tired. She noticed that the extra skin of her upper eyelid was folding downwards, almost touching her eyelashes, and making it difficult to apply eyeliner and shadow. After her upper lid lift she appears her normal alert self again, and her pretty eyes are more visible, even looking larger. (2071-)
