A more youthful eyelid appearance is attained by incorporating a brow lift with direct excision of eyelid tissue and lasering of the lower eyelid wrinkles. The improvement can be best appreciated by a lateral view of the area. The side view shows a dramatic improvement in the tired, baggy appearance of the eyelid region.
The tired appearance, “hooding” of the upper lids and wrinkling of the lower lid skin are dramatically improved by a combination of brow lift, skin excision and lasering to the lower lids.
Patient with excessive droopiness to eyebrow and lids underwent browlift and eyelid surgery. Note that pre-operatively the patient penciled in artificial eyebrow elevation and post-surgery was able to use her natural brow line.
