Patient from Florida wanted liposuction of abdomen. Patient had extensive stretch marks from her one pregnancy. It was recommended that she have a tummy tuck with muscle plication to give the patient a smaller waist since she did not have a large amount of fat on examination. Patient underwent the Avelar technique with good results.

Patient wanted improved appearance of stretch marks after 3 pregnancies. Patient exercised avidly, but with no improvement. Patient underwent the Avelar technique of combined liposuction and limited abdominoplasty without general anesthesia.
