Patient who had lost more than 150 lbs. following gastric bypass surgery and underwent several plastic surgical procedures to remove excess skin on arms, thighs and abdomen. She underwent the abdominoplasty and inner thigh lift at the same time.
Moderately overweight lady with a large amount of excess abdominal skin and loose muscle due to multiple pregnancies as well as large, heavy, pendulous breasts. She underwent combined breast reduction, liposuction of the abdomen, waist and back areas with an abdominoplasty removing excess skin and repairing the laxity in the abdominal muscle wall.
Middle-aged lady who had lost a large amount of weight. She has gross skin laxity in the abdomen as well as fairly empty, droopy breasts. She had a combined breast augmentation and lift with an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). The scars are relatively early in their healing phase.
Combined breast reduction and lift with abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)removing all excess skin as well as agressive correction of abdominal wall muscle laxity. Note how before the surgery the abdomen protrudes beyond the breasts. This is nicely corrected with the combined procedure which flattens the abdomen and elevates and projects the breasts. The scars are very early in their healing process and are therefore reddish. This fades over a year or so.
Very thin middle-aged lady who underwent a breast augmentation and lift at the same time as an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). The breast scars are reddish as they are very fresh. They generally lighten over a period of a year.
Abdominal protruberance due to a large gap between the rectus muscles producing a lax muscle wall. This is due to multiple large pregnancies. This lady has little excess skin to remove. The gap between her muscles can be readily seen in the frontal view and in the side view she looks several months pregnant before the surgery.
Combined abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and breast lift and reduction in middle-aged lady who had several pregnancies. Please note that all the skin below the umbilicus and the pubic region has been removed. Note the position of the large mole which before surgery was above the umbilicus but after surgery is well below. The muscle wall has been tightened. This is especially noticeable on the side view.
Combination of liposuction of abdomen, waist and flanks with abdominoplasty, removing all excess skin and closing the gap in abdominal rectus muscles to tighten and flatten abdominal muscle wall.
