"I have a slight tetracycline stain across the top of my teeth. What are the odds of either the tray whitening system or the light activated in office system reducing this stain? Is one system more likely to work than the other?
Thanks,
Lisa

Teeth often do not match faces, but I don't think I ever saw a worse situation than this. Here is a man with very handsome facial features that were totally obscured by these teeth. When I made his teeth fit his face, everything about him instantly looked far better. Nothing else besides the dentistry was done: no plastic surgery, etc. Start to finish was 3 weeks.

Sonya had been dissatissfied with her teeth for many years. She had a couple of teeth that were misaligned and spacing between some of the teeth. Sonya had decided that braces were not right for her, and after talking extensively about what her expectations were we decided that 8 "Empress" porcelain veneers and crowns could fix her esthetic problems. We also did a small gum lift in a few areas to create more uniformity.
Due to a fall, this individual broke her two front teeth, cracked her two lateral incisors, and knocked her left front tooth completely out. The avulsed tooth was successfully reimplanted and was stabilized with temporary crowns on both front teeth. Later both front teeth had root canal therapy (in about one hour). Empress ceramic crowns were used for the four front teeth, with matching porcelain veneers on the canines to make the transition to a lighter color from her old crowns in back.
This patient was always unhappy with her smile, however, she did not want to make major changes to her teeth. 4 veneers were placed across her front teeth to produce a dramatic change in her appearence.
This young lady developed mal-formed front teeth. The surface of these teeth were very pitted and unattractive. A cosmetic enhancement was completed with the placement of 8 veneers.

This patient has always been very unhappy with the large space between her front teeth. She did not want to go through 2 years of orthodontic treatment. The space was closed with 6 veneers only.
This patient had old Composite Veneers placed in another office some years prior. As you can see, the shade is dark, the surface texture and luster is absent and there is decay (the dark spots). The old veneers were removed and new veneers were placed giving the patient a much more pleasant appearance. The edges of the teeth were rounded to give the patient a more youthful appearance.
Many people have discolored teeth due to water or medicine that they consumed as a child or due to poor quality tooth enamel. With the modern dental materials that we have today, this problem can be easily corrected. Look at the ?after? photograph and see if you don?t agree that this patient is happy with her new smile.
The six upper teeth are chipped, rotated, discolored and misaligned. After bleaching the upper and lower teeth, 8 ceramic veneers were placed on the upper front teeth to stop the deterioration of the teeth and create a more pleasing smile.
Jane had always had some spacing with her front teeth and one of the front teeth was darker than the others. She was ready to get this area fixed. We talked about what options Jane had and she really wanted it to as natural as possible. It might look like only one tooth needs to be fixed, but it actually was necessary to put a thin layer of porcelain on all six of her front teeth and do a gum lift on her left side. By looking more comprehensively at Jane's case we were able to get the best r...
Shannon is a thirty something that was tired of her teeth. She was a very attractive, energenic woman but her teeth didn't do justice to her smile. Shannon had 2 veneers that were done some time ago on her two front teeth, but they were small and square. After talking about her concerns and expectations, we decided that we would start by making her smile more uniform and proportioned to her face. That would mean that we would need to do a "gum lift" procedure to make the teeth appear longer...
