Judith came into our office with her husband for a consultation initially. She had heard from one of our other patients about the kind of dentistry we do. Judith was very upset about the condition of her mouth. Over the years things had just collapsed and negative earlier dental experiences along with ebarrassment kept her from seeing a dentist.
Judith, like many people with similar circumstances was not comfortable in public. She avoided family gatherings, parties, shopping, even going t...
This hard-working gentleman had severly worn down his teeth. They were dark and very uneven, with large old fillings leaving the teeth susceptible to breakage. Ten Crowns and three Dental Implants gave him a new lease on life, and a brighter, straighter, much more youthful and attractive smile.
This individual had come to the point in her life where she was no longer satisfied with a so-so smile. She wanted a whiter, brighter, more attractive smile and more even teeth, which we acheived using Empress all-ceramic crowns. These crowns have a liveliness and translucency that can make them indistinguishable from natural teeth when done well. In this case a missing tooth on the upper right was replaced with a fixed (non-removable) porcelain bridge, while the remainder of her teeth received...
This patient had worn, discolored, dark, uneven teeth and old metal backed crowns and bridges. Four Dental Implants were used to replace missing teeth, eliminating the need to connect teeth with bridgework or to thread dental floss. All upper teeth and lower back teeth received Porcelain Crowns. The lower front teeth were whitened and cosmetically reshaped.
This patient had excessive wear due to grinding as well as discoloration. He required Full mouth reconstruction involving a combination of crowns and veneers.
This patient came to my office with the complaint of ugly teeth and a very "gummy" smile. We corrected the problem by doing periodontal plastic surgery on the upper front teeth whereby the upper teeth are longer and less gum tissue is exposed when she smiles. Note on the third set of pictures how the gum line and edge of teeth are in harmony with the patient's smile.
This case took four months because he needed to get ready for his wedding. He looked great for his wedding day and has been very happy with this makeover.
A great, natural smile is a tremendous asset. This patient knew he needed to make a change. We worked hard to earn his trust so he could be treated. This change improved his life! He became more confident and was able to eat better.
Our practice is designed to help people who are ashamed to smile or have considerable dental problems.
This is Mr. Al Garder. Al is the "morning voice of Charlotte radio" on WBT News Talk radio in Charlotte, North Carolina. For years Al struggled with his teeth. He was in constant discomfort and was ashamed by the appearance of his smile. Now his career as a radio personality was in jeopardy, but he had given up. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to help Al. It took over a year and several dental surgeries including bone grafts, tooth extractions, root canals, etc. With modern techniques w...
This patient had severe flaring of her front teeth caused by teeth grinding resulting in a loss of facial height. Her teeth were crooked and discolored.
This patient had tetracycline staining causing his teeth to appear dark and grayish. He had severe wear due to grinding and required full mouth rehabilitation. We performed all of his treatment under sedation in 2 visits. With his new teeth he's all smiles now!
