This young lady was about to be married. Her lateral incisors had always been narrow, and a previous dentist had placed short, fat porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns on them. Unfortunately, the teeth still looked too short and "gummy", the color was poor and the metal showed. A minor cosmetic gum lift to align the gums allowed us to place new metal-free ceramic crowns that had the proper proportions. This young woman was missing a tooth on her upper left side. She was also concerned about her uneven, discolored and mismatched teeth. She had spaces, poorly matched old crowns, and large old silver amlagam fillings on her back teeth. A fixed (non-removable) ceramic bridge was used to replace the missing tooth, and all other teeth received individual porcelain crowns.
